Since running our first course in 2012, Beyond the Wild has reached out to thousands of people through our unique wild camping retreats, events, and resources. Our aim has always been to ignite the fire of faith in the hearts of those we encounter and we have been blessed to see some of the incredible fruits of our work including a teenage boy who had been raised an atheist asking to be baptised, and a teenage boy making his first Holy Communion in the wild after experiencing Eucharistic Adoration for the first time.

“Being able to pray out here, to connect with God out in the wild has been amazing. You couldn’t do it anywhere else. It’s been amazing.”

–  Michael, 17 Northampton Diocese

Beyond the Wild addresses and seeks to reverse the current trend of young people losing their Catholic faith throughout their teenage years by fusing together wilderness and spiritual survival.

To carry out this great work we depend completely on the generosity of our benefactors and Mission Partners. Beyond the Wild is not a big charity where donations are swallowed up in huge salaries or overheads, but the impact of our work has been huge and every pound we receive makes a difference and helps us to meet the ongoing costs of equipment, events, insurance, marketing and employment.

If you want to be a part of this incredible mission you can support Beyond the Wild with a one-off donation, by giving monthly, or even by becoming a Beyond the Wild Mission Partner.

Beyond the Wild Mission Partners

The support of Beyond the Wild’s Mission Partners forms the backbone of the charity’s work by giving the charity the financial stability that it needs to operate.

Beyond the Wild seeks to have 10 Mission Partners who are willing to commit to giving £1,000 per year for 3 years.

Through the support of our Mission Partners Beyond the Wild raises a substantial amount of the funding that the charity needs to carry out its mission as one of the pioneering movements of the new evangelisation.

The partnership between Beyond the Wild and its Mission Partners is reflected through face to face meetings, regular communication, and even a yearly Beyond the Wild Mission Partners’ bushcraft event so our Mission Partners and their families can get a real taste of what we are doing!

If you are interested in becoming a Beyond the Wild Mission Partner we would love to hear from you and to put in place plans for a face to face meeting with our Managing Director, Will Hince, or one of our trustees who will gladly come to you.
